Who it's for

Built for people the powerful want to silence.

When your phone can be seized at a border and your sources put you at risk, “strong encryption” isn't enough. Vaultr is engineered for the moment someone forces you to unlock.

Journalists, activists, and human-rights workers face a threat model most apps ignore: not a remote hacker, but a person with physical power demanding access. Vaultr is one of the only tools designed for exactly that moment.

Show them a decoy, not your sources

A decoy slot opens a complete, believable profile with nothing sensitive inside. Your real vault — contacts, wallets, notes — never appears, and there is no indication it exists.

Call for help without saying a word

A duress slot unlocks normally while silently alerting your guardians — no banner, no sound, nothing the coercer can detect.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can border agents force me to reveal everything?

They can force you to unlock a vault — so Vaultr lets you unlock a decoy one. It returns a believable, harmless profile while your real data stays invisible.

Does Vaultr know which slot is real?

No. The server always reports every slot as 'normal', so it cannot reveal — or be compelled to reveal — which slot is your real one.

Every other app asks you to trust it.
Vaultr trusts you.

Your vault. Your keys. Your messages. Your money. Your identity. Your rules. Get it on every platform — and if they’ve blocked the stores where you live, install the PWA and walk right in.
