Creating your first vault profile
Set up your first encrypted profile in Vaultr — choose a password, and you're ready to send, message, and store secrets.
When you open Vaultr for the first time, you create a vault profile. Pick a strong password — it's the only thing that can unlock this profile, and Vaultr never sees it in plaintext.
Steps
- Open the app and choose Create profile.
- Enter a display name and a strong, unique password.
- Your wallet and messaging identity are generated automatically — no seed phrase to write down.
