Recovering your account if you lose your phone

Lost your device? Use guardian-based social recovery, an encrypted cloud backup, or device migration to get back in.

Vaultr gives you three independent ways to regain access, so losing a phone never means losing your funds.

Social recovery

If you nominated guardians, start a recovery request on your new device. Once the threshold of guardians (2 of 3 by default) approves, you regain access. Requests expire after 72 hours.
