FAQ

Questions, answered

What can I build with the Vaultr SDK?

The SDK exposes Vaultr’s full stack — wallet, vault storage, messaging, payments, and notifications — behind documented APIs, so you can embed Vaultr’s security and privacy into your own product without rebuilding the infrastructure.

How does API access work?

You create a project, generate API keys with specific scopes and optional expiry, and call the API. Keys can be rotated and revoked at any time, and every call is tracked with real-time usage dashboards. Rate limits are tiered: 60/min free, 600/min developer, 6,000/min enterprise.

Are there webhooks?

Yes. Subscribe to events like transaction.confirmed, recovery.initiated, and duress.triggered. Deliveries are signed with an HMAC secret so you can verify authenticity, with automatic retries and full delivery logging.
